BBH Group Inc. Completes Divestiture of MacMor Industries Ltd.

Montreal, QC, February 13th, 2025 – Phoenix Partners Fund I, LP (“Phoenix Partners”) and its portfolio company BBH Group Inc. (“BBH”) are pleased to announce the sale of MacMor Industries Ltd. (“MacMor”) to Groupe Ficodis (“Ficodis”). Ficodis is a multi-specialized industrial distribution group founded in 2010 and headquartered in Montreal. As part of the Descours & Cabaud Group, Ficodis now has 44 points of sale in Quebec, Ontario, and Long Island, New York.

BBH acquired MacMor, a Winnipeg-based distributor of industrial, safety, and rigging products, in 2021. Since the acquisition, MacMor successfully strengthened its position in its key markets in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Arthur Roy, President of MacMor, stated: “We have experienced significant growth over the past three years, and our partnership with BBH and Phoenix Partners has helped us gain market share and improve the breadth of our product offering. Now, our future looks bright as part of a strong collaboration with Ficodis.” He added: “We recognize that the expertise of the teams at BBH and Phoenix Partners has helped us structure our development.”

Additionally, BBH and Ficodis have entered into a long-term distribution agreement to continue product development initiatives and maintain the supplier-client relationship between BBH and MacMor.
