Miguel Angers Joins Phoenix Partners as Operating Partner<\/strong><\/p>\n

Montr\u00e9al, QC, January 29, 2025<\/strong> – Phoenix Partners (\u201cPhoenix\u201d) today announced that it has expanded its team with the addition of Miguel Angers. As Operating Partner at Phoenix, Miguel will be responsible for value creation initiatives within portfolio companies. More specifically, he will support management teams to enhance operational performance and implement strategic goals that align with our investment thesis. Miguel\u2019s experience and business acumen will also contribute to our due diligence and deal analysis process.<\/p>\n

Miguel has over 20 years in executive leadership roles in both publicly traded and privately owned businesses, leading transformative initiatives in Canada, the US and China. He is known for driving strategic change, building high-performance teams, and fostering a culture of excellence, leaving a lasting impact on organizations.<\/p>\n

He was most recently the President of ISN Canada, a leading automotive tool and equipment distributor, where he led a complete business transformation, while establishing a culture of performance delivering sustainable and profitable growth. His earlier career includes over nine years at Uni-Select (LKQ Corporation) in various Vice President roles ranging from merchandising, global sourcing and purchasing, sales and retail store operations. Prior to that, he began his career at Federal-Mogul Corporation (DRiV Corporation) where he held sales and marketing and supply chain leadership roles in China and the US. <\/p>\n

Miguel has a distinguished academic background that includes an MBA in International Management from Universit\u00e9 Laval and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke, where he earned prestigious awards for academic and entrepreneurial excellence. His contributions to the automotive industry earned him the Young Industry Leader of the Year award in 2014.<\/p>\n
