FRANÇOIS FAUTEUXFOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER
Prior to establishing Phoenix Partners, François led the private equity team in Eastern Canada at a Bank-owned private equity group for over 10 years. Prior to that, he excelled for a decade as an investment banker. While in private equity, François led or participated in a dozen acquisitions valued in excess of $300M.
François is a Director of RefPlus Inc and Les Industries Bernard & Fils Ltée as well Chairman of CRH Oral Design Inc. François holds an MBA from McGill University and an undergraduate degree in finance from HEC Montréal.
DAVID LE HOUXPARTNER
Prior to joining Phoenix in 2016, David was at National Bank of Canada for over 12 years where he began his career as a corporate banker before being promoted to Financial Markets, where he specialized in risk management solutions. For over 9 years, David served as National Bank of Canada's Director, Financial Markets where he designed, provided and implemented hedging solutions to corporate and private equity clients. He also worked 3 years in corporate finance.
David is a Director of Les Industries Bernard et Fils Ltée. He holds a CFA designation and a BComm from HEC Montréal.
Prior to joining Phoenix in 2016, Philippe-André served as Vice-President, Financing at Novacap for four years. In the preceding 12 years, he led numerous initiatives at Uni-Sélect Inc. in the areas of financing, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, performance turnarounds, integration planning and the implementation of management systems.
Philippe-André is a Board member of Les Industries Bernard et Fils Ltée. He earned an MBA and holds a CFA designation and the title of CPA, CMA.
Marie-Julie BrunelleVICE PRESIDENT
Marie-Julie joined Phoenix Partners in 2018 after having worked for fourteen years at Uni-Select Inc., including the last six years in the role of Director of Treasury, Credit & Business Support. Throughout her career, she developed extensive experience in acquisitions, financing, integration and restructuring as well as treasury management. Her experience working with entrepreneurs, driving growth and optimizing operations will contribute greatly to the success of Phoenix Partners for years to come.
Marie-Julie is a CPA, CGA and a member of the Quebec Order of Chartered Accountants. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University du Quebec of Montreal.
